Limited to just 100 examples, customers will have to enter a lottery for a chance to buy the Supra Plasma Orange 100 Edition

Black in March 2020, Toyota delivered the very first Supra GT4 racecar to a driver in Europe. Since then, the car has seen improvements roll in with an EVO model, and the automaker has built a total of 100 customer racecars. To celebrate that milestone Toyota will build 100 road-going Supra “Plasma Orange 100 Editions” and three GR Supra GT4 “100 Editions.”

The road car will be based on the RZ trim, which means that it will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will feature matte black-painted forged aluminum wheels, black brake calipers Alcántara seats, a special carbon fiber badge with the model’s name, and, most notably, Plasma Orange paint.

Limited to just 100 examples, Toyota says that it will sell the car using a lottery system that will be open between May 8 and June 4. Prospective owners will have to apply for a chance at buying the car by entering the lottery in person at one of its GR Garage stores. The carmaker will reach out to the winners in mid-June to start the ordering process, with prices starting at ¥7.6 million($55,814 USD at current exchange rates). Deliveries are scheduled to start in the fall.

In addition, Toyota will produce three examples of its racecar, the GR Supra GT4 EVO, in the same shade of orange. These models will also get unique front bodywork and a special badge with the car’s serial number on it. Prices for this special edition have not been made clear, but prices for the racecar start at €186,000 ($204,548 USD).

The buyers who do end up getting the Supra GT4 will be getting a proven race winner. Between 2020 and the end of 2022, the car had been entered in 317 races, recorded 79 class victories, 20 overall wins, and 207 podium finishes in events around the world.
